Graduate applicants are required to complete the University of the West online application.
All applicants should submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended. Transcripts must be sealed and sent directly from the schools to the Enrollment Office.
Letters of Recommendation
Three letters of recommendation must be submitted directly from the references in a sealed envelope or from an e-mail with a professional domain. Academic letters of recommendation are highly encouraged. References may not be a relative of the applicant.
Statement of Purpose
The typed, double-spaced statement of purpose should be 500-600 words, describing interest in a specific area at University of the West and goals beyond achieving an advanced degree. The statement should also include why the applicant chose to study at University of the West, interest and/or research, and personals goals or aspirations.
A non-refundable application fee of $50 may be made by check or credit card. Please make checks out to University of the West.
Submit a copy of most recently earned diploma.
The university requests copies of two forms of legal identification. Acceptable forms of identification include: Driver’s License, Identification card, US Passport, and Social Security Card.
Submit most recent resume or curriculum vitae.
