Mandatory Testing for New Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students starting in the fall 2013 semester -- which begins Monday, Aug. 26 -- must take the math and writing assessment tests before registering for classes.
Students will not be able to register for courses without having first taken the assessment tests. Testing is available from Aug. 5 - Aug. 16, 2013.
Students must contact the Student Success Center directly to make an appointment for testing.
The application and fee is only valid for the semester that you indicate. However, you may defer the application and fee for one time only by notifying the Admissions Office in writing four weeks before the beginning day of the semester that is indicated on your application. Otherwise, a new application fee will be required.
Please make sure all of the admissions requirements are met before submitting your application.
***International Students: University of the West cannot issue an I-20 to you unless all of the above admissions requirements are met and all of the necessary legal documents are received. You are required to register for at least one semester in order for UWest to issue you an I-20.
