As of February, longtime employee Vanessa Karam will be the full time Coordinator of General Education, a position that combines her talents for teaching and administration.

She will continue to advise international students and maintain SEVIS compliance until the end of the fiscal 2010-11 year.

Mrs. Karam has worked at University of the West for more than 10 years as a beloved professor of English and Chair of the Department of Languages.
