Our Campus

University of the West, located in the City of Rosemead, California, sits atop a hill overlooking the San Gabriel Valley with sweeping vistas of the San Gabriel Mountains.

The intimate campus occupies 10 landscaped acres dominated by cedar and Italian Cypress trees, birds of paradise, perennials and blooms of roses. The spacious and tranquil campus is just a short drive from downtown Los Angeles, within easy access to the major cultural and attractions this multi ethnic city has to offer.

Museums, performing arts centers, and popular tourist attractions such as Hollywood, Universal Studios, and Santa Monica are all situated within close proximity to the university's campus.

Locally students have access to shopping, restaurants, and a major recreation area, which includes bike paths, walking paths, lakes and an 18 hole championship golf course.
